I like to order from the Protein Factory, a little spendy, but it gets the job done. Deffinantly the type of protein plays a bigger factor than quantity. | |

| Under Construction | different kinds of protein play different roles in your diet.. casein protein is great for a pre bed shake (slow absorbing), whey is best post workout because it is quickly digested. there are also grades of protein...I like Isopure for whey and I usually take muscle milk prior to going to bed (blend of whey and casein). but remember, the best protein is the protein you get from actual food! |

| ...It's looking right at me. | Good point about the different types and different purposes. I advocate getting all protein from whole food sources except post workout. I've tried a ton of proteins and had mixed results from all of them. Of all the proteins I have used, the best results I have obtained from a 'powder product' are from Oryx Goat Whey, by Vyotech. It's more bioavailable than bovine sources and I have felt and seen noticable differences using it over other whey proteins. "Memento mori"... Remember that you will die. |

| Nimbus Nutrition Board Rep | I personally try to get as much protein as possible from whole foods, even post workout, but it can be difficult to always have whole food protein. I prefer blends over straight types of protein and feel it is important to find a good quality protein. There are many good choices out there. My favorite protein is Ultra Peptide.
