    vanadyl sulfate


    Hi Gang...

    For you guys who have been around the block for awhile....

    years ago I remember when Vanadyl sulfate (both tabs and sublingual) was all teh rage for super pumps and increasing strength.

    As skinny as I was back then. I did notice some serious pumps and did increase my strength quite considerably.

    Now, there were some kidney and liver considerations and also had to watch for insulin changes.

    Now...is vanadul sulfate still a good supplement to use, or has it gone by the way side to better things?

    I dont see it much any more so I figured it either was deemed bad with long term effects or better things have come along....


    any and all information and help will be greatly appreciated.

    As a biologically significant form of vanadium, vanadyl sulfate mimics insulin (increases hepatic and peripheral insulin sensitivity). At a dose of 7.5mg (daily or every other day), vanadyl sulfate can would improve glucose tolerance, support bone and teeth health, and improve cholesterol levels. Toxicity might set in from 25mg or so daily.

    Sometimes my wife and I find ourselves...err...Carborgying ate at night. I wil drop 10 mg of Vanadyl Sulfate for around every 75 gram of carbs.

    The next day I will notice a definite muscle belly fullness and no significant fat gain (well, stacked with DCP.)

    Is this fullness similar to Yellow Gold or Anabolic Pump (in the way of glycogen)?

    I've used both and didn't see as much from the vanadyl as i did from AP or YG, but I was doing stupid high doses of Vanadyl Sulfate. Now that I look back i probably could have done less and maybe saw more. I may give it another try here soon. I'm stil sitting on a whole bottle.

    Well I was doing 100mg VS with 75gr WMS/5gr Leucine/5gr Creatine Mono/5gr Taurine/10gr Glutamine...I think.

    I would just feel really weird some days about 45min after I'd finish my shake, sometimes dizzy and a little hypo i think. I didn't feel the muscle fullness like I do when I take an AP and eat carbs a little later. But then again if i'd go on what your suggestiong I'd need about 500gr carbs so it makes sense if thats the reasoning.

    I was going off some stuff I'd read on here a few years ago about high VS dose's. I'm an idiot and should have started low, thats relly not like me at all to just rush into things at a high dose like that.

    100mgs?????? Christ, man.

    I am down to less than 20 DCP, and my personal stash hasn't even been shipped yet.

    The Orange Xtend was pretty dang good...lemonade is..meh. As soon as my DCP comes in, yours will go out.

    Maybe I'll toss in the new 1 ounce sample sized Atomic Meltdown for the delay.

    that'd be great, but I knew there was going to be a delay when I talked to Christne about it. I just had to say somthing.

    Yea I know 100mg is crazy high, im an idiot. Maybe I'll try 10mg before my preand post workout oats. I take in about 30 for each.

    I remember using vanadyl sulphate years ago when it first became popular as a supplement. It gave incredible pumps, in fact I recall waking up the day after a workout and my biceps still felt pumped. High doses definitely weren't healthy, though.

    I used to buy SportPharma's version, tiny little tablets at 7.5mg I believe. I have no idea where I read about it (probably on Usenet at misc.fitness.weights), but I would pop two of those PW with a tall glass of grape juice and creatine, followed by protein. It seemed to increase pumps and vascularity...then again this was back when I was a college kid with nothing better to spend my money on, so I was probably taking 100 different supps on any given day!

    would it be a good idea to take 10-20 mg PW or would that be unnecessary if you already take in some carbs and protein to spike insulin after your workout anyway?
