Saponins, how do they work?

hi,

with all those various saponins out there,

how do they really work in terms of mechanism to increase libido, more interested in how they raise endogenous test level?

thanks.

We are about to release something earth shattering in the saponin sector.

One mechanism is increased Leutizing Hormone (LH)

right right, i thought aobut that and read about it,

I was looking for more detailed info...such as SERM will bind to your receptors in brain, blocking estrogen so your brain will think you are low in steroids (test, estrogen etc) in the body so it will release LH and/or FSH.

I wonder if saponins work the same way?

just curious whether i should run saps (specifically ones in the powerFULL) during my pct in conjunction with SERM or not. I was thinking about using saps after SERM as I dont want to mess with anything during PCT. Dont want to gamble.

Sorry to disappoint you.

Not to give you too much of a bad time, but you guys have a thread in your company forum about a new 11-hydroxy-blahblahblah fat burner that is 6 months old and still no product to show. How can we really take your word on this "earth shattering" product and it's supposed release?

Molecular Nutrition has a thread that is close to a year old about a new product "coming soon" and also has no product to show for it.

Nutra has been promising "Thrive" will be available in just a bit for almost 2 months.

I'm just tired of companies promising something new and not delivering. It makes it hard to decide wether to spend NOW[ on the great stuff available or wait for the "promised holy grail" that is always just around the corner next week. If it's ready lets hear about it; if not you'll keep driving me crazy. :fool2:

I still love all you supp compnaies, but I hope you get my point.

I remember hearing you say something about this a while back. About how your company was conducting studies on Tribulus, and just how effective it can be. Correct me if I am wrong. I have always responded well to Tribulus, so I will definitely be interested.

I would rather be in on what is happening with time to research before the release of a product. And I don't think you understand just how much work goes into getting bottles, labels, raws, blended, capped, caps inside the bottles, sealed bottles. Not to mention all the stages of testing, and price negotiations... Shipping to retailers... Marketing.

Anyway, if you don't like it, don't read it.

Just buy what you think is nice that is out now, then buy what you think is nice later when it comes out.

And in the 11-hydroxy thread USPLabs even warns that this product won't be around until 2 or 3 other usplabs releases... He is just talking about something he is exited and passionate about.

Everyone hates to wait for xmas, but xmas would not be xmas without the waiting.

I get they do all the testing, research and prep wich takes time. Good points. My problem is I get all excited too and am perpetually short on patience.

My point was that companies say it is coming very soon and then it just doesn't. I get things happen that are beyond control sometimes. I am just pointing out that delays happen a lot causing me to buy now rather than later. The problem is I usually only have money for now or later, not both. I get that this is MY problem; I just try to get the best for my hard earned money.

Hype and excitement are just that, they arn't product. Now as I read things like USP's blurb I get excited for a second, then remember that "soon" could mean 1 year from now and feel sad because I feel it harder now to believe even what someone like him says. I'm not complaining really, just making a point of something that struck me as I read USP's comment on saponins.

Just for example from the 11-hydroxy thread -http://anabolicminds.com/forum/usp-labs/71318-high-orac-value.html#post918602 sounded like late 3rd quarter or early 4th quarter realease. Now we are in 08. Remembering this thread tempered my excitment over his comment just now is all, and I felt like mentioning it. :)

BTW, for the OP saponins work in so many different ways. They are, or are like adaptogens, helping our bodies be optimized and adapt to stress. The can become direct hormone precursors or can cause the body to send signals to produce more hormones. Very cool and effective compounds that I frequently use.

Understood but cutting edge and innovation sometimes suffers delay.

We are releasing the product that you speak of in about 4 weeks. With this project, we had to cultivate 1 compound and we had to extract 2 new compounds.

I could release stuff on a weekly basis but void of innovation. Innovation takes time.

This new earth shattering supplement. I will surprize you with like Emerald the chefs "bang!"

Get ready for a life of disappointment kid...in your politicians, in your promised pay raise, in that "new & exciting" thing your wife promises to try in your bedroom...

thanks to those who replied to the original thread question

thanks to those who hijacked the thread, i will return the favor with this idea,,,goto USPlabs forum and start a new thread

just being sarcastic, no biggie lol

you should make a side company that releases bulk interesting stuff for us guineepigs to play with

hi,

with all those various saponins out there,

how do they really work in terms of mechanism to increase libido, more interested in how they raise endogenous test level?

thanks.

This is too general of a question, really.

Saponins are merely a type of plant steroidal glycosides, actually often used to make soaps and detergents more often than herbal test boosters. Their mechanisms of action vary from absolutely nothing, to increasing Adrenal DHEA output to increasing Luteinizing Hormone, to some other **** I'm yet to learn about.

I am.

I'm calling it USP play land. Okay I'm not calling it that but the guy running Absolute Quality bulk had to get a real job to support his house foreclosure so I bought it out and it's not worth anything.

TheSinner is right. The question is rather broad.
A class of phytochemicals, saponins are naturally occurring plant chemicals that are capable of developing significant biological activity in the body. Saponins can be found in grains (for example oats) and different vegetables ranging from legumes and potatoes, to spinach and alfalfa sprouts. Saponins are only active within the intestinal tract and do not permeate the rest of the body. Consequently, saponins are not capable of causing damage to vital organs of the body. Saponins clean the colon walls and support the growth of friendly bacteria in the intestines, leading to a strengthening of the digestive and immune systems. Furthermore, saponins may exhibit anti-cancer properties, serve as potent antioxidants, and lower cholesterol (via blocking cholesterol absorption or promoting greater excretion of cholesterol from the body).

I will buy it off you for a quarter.
