Don't need that much green tea from both LX and the caps.. cut down your dose of bulk caps to one or two max.

What would be the negatives (of Green Tea) from 3 caps of NP Green Tea (Tea-GCG, I presume) and 3 Lean Xtreme per day?

As Layne Norton says: More is not better, better is better.

Too much may cause pro-oxidant effects.

Green tea extract and (-)-epigallocatechin-3-gallate, the major tea catechin, exert oxidant but lack antioxidant activities -- Elbling et al. 19 (7): 807 -- The FASEB Journal

I have also read that the effect of excessively high doses may be more profound for those who have had stress on their liver.

Probably nothing noticeable. Of course green tea is probably considered a relatively mild supplement but just something to keep in the back of your mind when considering upping/mega dosing supplements over their effective dosages.

Thanks, AB, for sharing those studies. I guess one might have a problem, if one took EGCG at some of the doses used in the study over a prolonged period of time. 40mg/kg of intravenous EGCG amounts to 4000mg EGCG for a 100kg user, or more than 16 Nutra Tea-GCG (oral) daily for 40 days. Most users would hardly come anywhere close to this dosage. One of the studies even used 200mg EGCG/kg (minimum of 80 Nutra Tea GCG daily!!!).

The studies are useful to remind us that even Green Tea should not be used recklessly.

Personally, I would see about 750mg daily as an optimum (no maximum) for a 100kg user (1 x 400mg and 1 x 350mg) to obtain the benefits of green tea. Some studies have shown that it is more effective to take at least 400mg EGCG per dose (threshold for effectiveness is around 375mg) than taking, say, 250mg twice.

I believe fatburner should be fine, alternating between the support supplements on different days, rather than megadosing and taking all of that at once.

Yeah, I am planning on using Shred XS, Shred Hardcore, Lean Xtreme, and DCP as my primary supplements, then Fish Oil, CLA, and Sesamin, and then Green Tea.

It has a small amount of caffeine in it, but much more L-Theanine that usually dominates the caffeine in Green Tea. This is why many users get a calming, restful effect from Green Tea, as opposed to (mild) insomnia. There are definitely exceptions, of course.

Good to hear! So rest of the stack looks to be in place?

That's a an effective-looking fat-burning stack you put together, FatBurner . I like the combination of Shred-XS and Shred-XS Hardcore. I also like the inclusion of Lean Xtreme. It looks like a good product for cortisol management. I am looking at combining it with Drive for my own stack sometime in the future. Personally, I would add Relora to Lean-Xtreme to produce one of the most effective cortisol-control stacks far and wide. But that is only an option. You can stick to your current stack. Apart from that, the only other thing I might add is Forskolin (60mg-100mg daily).

Overall, great stack! Wish you success with it

Lean Xtreme contains Coleus Forskohlii (40% Forskolin).
