Pumps..

Ok so I have "NO Shotgun" and I like it alot, but i've read that
its really bad for you, and can destroy your kidneys, and liver..
So I was wondering if anybody has any suggestions to take b4 working out to get a great pump..?
Perferablly something you have tried b4..
