calcium glycerophosphate

Calcium glycerophosphate is used in toothpaste and as a food stabilizer in baked goods, essentially it’s a compound of glycerol and calcium phosphate.

Glycerol has been studied extensively for its ability to draw water and hydrate organisms. However, the great thing about calcium glycerophosphate is that it comes in a soluble, tasteless, white powder and doesn’t provide any nasty side effects.
