Vitamin b6 regulates prolactin . I guess at a certian dose 200-500mgs it is comparable to that of bromocriptine.

If this is the case who needs Powerfull anymore....prolactin inhibits dopamine, so by inhibiting prolactin you can increase dopamine and theoretically have the same benefits.

I guess all those weird dreams everyone got off of ZMA just reinforces the fact that B6 does something to dopamine.

Anyone else have more info on how effective B6 is in regaurd to prolactin inhibition and benefits?

Just remember that B-6 can also be toxic at that dose.

It can cause nerve damage. I think SuperSoldier has a thread on it. Its anti-prolactin properties occur as a side effect of toxicity.

I'll see if I can find the thread.

I wouldnt mega dose B-6 that high for increased dopamine. Also increasing dopamine doesnt make you have wild dreams, its the the B-6 in the ZMA its probably the zinc putting you in a deep sleep.
