| Registered User | Say you get to check-out with $300 in the basket at whatever online shop, do you get charged more than that.. ie state taxes or sales taxes? I'm just trying to figure out how much of a rip off the British retailers are and how much better you have it. Oh, I order from NP, before you suggest it. So, are there any costs in addition to the total of the basket costs? |

| Gold Member | I think you only pay tax at checkout if you live in same state as company. Some companies have multiple locations i.e. GNC, VitaminShoppe so you get nailed for taxes. I do not get charged tax at NP as they are in Georgia and I am in NJ. Quote:

| Registered User | Jonny is right. The retailers don't charge us tax if they aren't in the same state, but we are supposed to pay that tax to our state as a use tax when we file our taxes. |
