Ostojic SM Yohimbine: the effects on body composition and exercise performance in soccer players. Res Sports Med. 2006 Oct-Dec;14(4):289-99.

The main aim of this study was to determine the effects of yohimbine supplementation on body composition and exercise performance in professional soccer players. The athletes (20 top-level male soccer players) were allocated to two randomly assigned trials. Subjects in the yohimbine group orally ingested tablets that contains yohimbine at a dose of 20 milligrams per day in two equal doses for 21 days. Subjects in the placebo group ingested an equal number of identical-looking pills that contained cellulose. There were no statistically significant changes in body mass and muscle mass within or between trials (p > 0.05) after the supplementation protocol. Percentage of body fat significantly decreased in the yohimbine group after the supplementation protocol (9.3 +/- 1.1 vs. 7.1 +/- 2.2%; p < 0.05). Furthermore, fat mass was significantly lower in the yohimbine versus placebo trial at postsupplementation assessment (7.1 +/- 2.2 vs. 9.2 +/- 1.9%; p < 0.05). There were no changes in exercise performance indicators (bench and leg press, vertical jump, dribble and power test results, shuttle run) within or between. trials (p > 0.05). No subject reported any side effects from yohimbine. The results of the current study indicate that supplementation with yohimbine combined with resistance training does not significantly alter the body mass, muscle mass, or performance indicators in professional soccer players. Nonetheless, yohimbine supplementation appears to be suitable as a fat loss strategy in elite athletes.

Great info, Yohimbe has always been a pretty potent supp for some time.

In the study that BJ posts the subjects used 20mg a day, split into two 10mg doses. At Leviathans suggested dose, you receive 18mg a day, split into two 9mg doses.

You would not have the cool bottle of pills and the funky -$39 on your bank statement for a start. ;) only kidding, just ordered my free trial, looking to merge it somehow with my Tri-Lean stack from alri.

I have to admit....way back when he was (almost) a force in the industry, one of the few things I learned from Bill Phillips was how effective yohimbine could be for cutting. I used to follow his plan to alternate YHCl and the ECA stack for cutting and man did it work. And the first place I read about it was his silly book...now 10 or 12 years later people still agree...how cool is that!

His free annual or whatever for five dollars shipping, was in fact a really f'n good resource! I read that book cover to cover and gained a fair bit of knowledge. I'll give him one thing, he did a good job at getting alot of people off their fat asses and back into the gym to transform themselves.

ive personally never had any issues with Yohimbe but ive read some who have

im pretty tolerant to those type of things

one thing to remember, yohimine hcl is powerful stuff. about 2 years ago i bought a gram off another site. the directions said 1/4 teaspoon=600mg. my dumbass thought it was saying to do a 1/4 teaspoon. thought i was going to die. started sweating, heart beat went way up and so did my flagpole. full mast for at least 4 hours, almost went to hospital. still remember that little experience. just be careful. seriously the wife was ready to call ambulance.

For those of you who can tolerate it, I would definitely recommend slowly bumping up YCL. I supplemented my Leviathan doses with bulk YCL powder suspended in water. I bumped my daily YCL intake to 25mg and loved it. I continued taking this much YCL after finishing my Leviathan bottle. The stuff is great, I felt good and alert all the time and didn't need to take any energy supps, libido was great, and erections were quite impressive. Now that I'm talking about I think I will jump on some leviathan and YCL once I'm done with my post cycle therapy.
