Injectable B12 questions

I just started using injectable B12, and I'm curious how everyone else doses (i've read every thread on AM about it so I have some idea). Sorta wondering how much is too much?

Yesterday I shot about 1/4 cc, then today 1/2 cc.

Also I have always taken a B Complex. Is it pointless to continue using this? I was thinking it is fine since it contains other B vitamins and I know they work well together.

My original thought is to use 1/2 cc for a week or so straight then maybe use a 1/2 cc EOD.

I take one mL every once and a while - maybe 3X per week if I'm lucky to remember that often.

I shoot it IM - hate the subQ lumps.

A b complex is good to take because of the folic acid - helps with red blood cell synthesis when taken with B12.

Awesome. Yeah I'm doing IM. I only have 1/2 cc pins right now so I need to pick up some 1cc so I dont have to do it everyday! Reps bro...

how do u like it so far? i was curious about this myself. why pin instead of pills? low bioavailability? have more energy?

My mom was a nurse and she used to talk about how her and other nurses would give each other shots of B12 during thier shifts to be able to stay alert and have more energy. I would assume that if nurses do it that way, it is probably more bioavaliable and faster acting.

do u actually get a long lasting energy feeling?

oral administration of b12 has almost zero bioavailability. Methyl b12 is better when taken orally but still much less than injectable.

This so far has only been day 3, but things seem okay. Been getting a lot of work done but maybe thats cause I'm behind! Pinned another 1/2 cc today. Also I am using methyl b12, I basically just got sick of hearing about all the benefits and not trying a supplement that seems so obviously good. I'll keep yall updated.

I get not much from pills. It is longer lasting in injectable form.

Bioavailability is the reason for injecting.

Plus - it seems cheaper for 1 mg+ dosing when pinning vs. pills. Pills seem more expensive at higher doses (esp. methyl B-12 - good God those are expensive pills).

I know we can ask where to purchase, however what company or companies make injectable B12. I have looked and have not found one.
