MRI Pro-Nos

Anyone have any info on this? I have a friend who really wants to try it, but I suspect it's an overpriced load of crap and would like to be able to convince him of that. I'd post a link to a description of it but the forum won't let me post URLs.

If you really want a good price then just buy the bulk powder form and make your own. Arginine AKG or Arginine Ethyl Ester should do the trick and cost much less. Use some crystal light for flavoring and you'll be good to go

I'm mainly wondering about the claim of targeted fat burning...

From the MRI site about Pro-Nos: "The VAT-Burn fraction is clinically proven to strip of belly fat by 4.30%! All this, with whey fractions only!"

I know targeted fat burning has to be BS, but is there any truth to the claim that specific fractions of whey protein peptide chains can encourage fat burn?

there is NO SUCH THING as spot reduction of bodyfat!!!! the body burns fat as a whole, not in just one area...never listen to claims made by companies.....

It's overpriced because they buy so many four page ads in all the magazines trying to catch all the little kiddies who wanna get HUGE and don't know how to read a label and make their own. I wish it had spot fat reduction cause my wife has a spot that covers her whole a$$. I'd buy her a few cases if I thought it would work.

I tend not to really knock on MRI, because they started 2 of the biggest trends in sports supplementation:

1. Nitric Oxide modulation (esp. AAKG)
2. Creatine Ethyl Ester

I got a tub really cheap as I am out of Goat Whey and saw a really good deal on the Pro-NOS.

I'll see if it's Pro-NOS or Pro-POS.

The vanilla mixed with milk tastes like melted marshmellows. No joke.

It would be a good product if you can find it at 50% off though. The normal price is unjustifiable.

i just ran out of min and got more today and bought 2 bins for REALLY cheap, well compared to eveyrwhere else.

GNC had on sale for like 41-42$, or sumin and i used the 20% disccount and both bins came out to be like 65$.!!!!!!!!!!

Online sells em for easially 55 and shipping. What i got, was a GREAT deal.

PRO-NOS isnt bad at all, i love the chocolate and the taste is amazing, its just that sum think its expensive....u just gatta get it the right time....GNC =)

I gained maybe 4 pounds using 2 bins(its not alot but i got h a very high metabolism so tis good for me)(lasted lil less then a month and 1/2), and gotten about 10-15 pounds up in my benchpress.

Pro-Nos is great.
This products for "People that want to gain weight, and is hard for them too, since they have a VERY high metabolism"
But people that dont want that big "Gainers", that are big in suger...

damn... i been ignoring this thread. Pro-NOS is REALLY top quality protein. I have a client in 7 minutes, so I can't get into much of a review yet, but it's TOP of the line in my 4 month run with it @ 3 shakes per day (2-3).

The cost for that must have been astounding. 1 tub only has 19 servings, and costs from $38-50.

The stuff is good, but it's not THAT good.
