There are a handful of studies substantiating its use - I would see it as a good adjunct to any oral, along with milk thistle, ala, NAC.

Been using Liv52 (aka LiverCare) from Hymalaya for a little over 3 years now. Was on some pretty serious meds that had some high hepatotoxic potential. Fortunately, my bloodwork was always good. Off those meds now, but I'll always take my Liv52. It's certainly affordable.
