Out of the various supps I've tried (NO-xplode, superpump by gaspari, generic AAK +CEE, WB/GB/GG, Shock Therapyby universal, and CVM by SNS among others). The best was CVM, which I can hardly find now, followed by a close second of Shock Therapy. Pumps, Focus, and Strength were the best on these for me. Hope this helps.
Also, ST is around $27 and CVM was around $24

I haven't tried it, but WTF Pumped by ALRI has a very good ingredient profile and is also $29.99 at Nutra.

According to David Tolson, who wrote an article on another site that was the source for this recipe, the following preworkout mix is both good and inexpensive (I agree - I made and have used it a lot):
Calcium Citrate, 8 oz
Tyrosine Powder, 4 oz
Acetyl-L-carnitine, 75 g
Caffeine, 1 tablet (taken separately)
"This is enough for 50 workouts, and costs about $30. Each serving (a heaping tablespoon) provides 4.5 g calcium citrate, 2.25 g l-tyrosine, and 1.5 g ALCAR, with the option of additional caffeine (I recommend using tablets for the sake of convenience, as caffeine is so inexpensive to begin with). This blend can also be taken at other times during the day as a mild stimulant."

I was wondering how good it is for women to take HMB. I start a new job on Monday at a private prison and have to watch what I injest as I will be taking random drug tests. I also will be finally joing a gym (not working out at home) and will have more access to other equipment. What can anyone recommend for me to build my glutes, hams and abductor area.
I will be keeping a log of my dialy routines both nutritionally and physically and I would greatly appreciate any constructive criticism. Remeber I am a female and I weigh 97lbs. I am 5'0 tall.
