after a 3 week cycle how long would one take a break before beginning an new one? about a month?

it really depends on a lot of things, especially how much you dosed per day. in general if your cycle =x, your recovery (off cycle) time should be x multiplied by 2
2x
buuut, if it was a very weak (lets say <300mg a day of androstenedione) you could probably get awya with just "x" so 3 weeks.
