Hello everyone!
I've been doing quite a bit of research in the Nutrition/Health section and thought I should post this here.

I was wondering if anyone has a list of supplements that are safe to use for a person with Type II diabeties?
In particular looking for ones that premote weight(fat) loss and suppress appatite and won't interfere with Metformin
Thanks in advance :D

"Anabolic pump" by USP purportedly helps your body use insulin, as well as feeding glucose to your muscle cells and NOT your fat cells. It also purportedly helps translocate aminos into your cells. check out the thread "AP unedited write up" and read the lab results in the first post/ or ask one of the reps. I have made suggestions of how AP could be a medical breakthrough with helping diabetics but due to the fact its a sort of a contest, i have not gotten an answer yet. Its worth a good look though. good luck.

Thanks for the reply!
I've been reading about that Anabolic Pump and it sounds quite amazing! I was kinda hoping I could piggy back on the 'write-up' thread and I shot out a couple questions. I guess if one of the reps doesn't see it I'll have to buy gold membership so I can PM :D

It can help for sure, although some people have reported having more appetite. I'll have a look for your question in the other thread...

Please, please, please seek the advice of your doctor before using though. It's not intended to treat or cure disease...

The way I see it is if this lowers blood sugar levels one would have to be extra carefull in a Type II situation not to over-do it, espec. if one is taking medication (i.e. metformin) I'll be havin' a long chat with my doctor and a couple diabetic specialists in the near future :D

Be very cautious. Metformin's primary action is to reduce hepatic glucose output. Keep your glucometer and glucose tabs (cake icing...) within close proximity.

Look into Poseidon and Cardo Trim's Diabetic Formula. A friend of mine has been using both with great success.

Hope this helps,

I am Type II.

I have taken, without side effects:
R-ALA
Size On / Creatine
Protein
CoQ10
AnX Rage pre-workout tabs
AAKG
Leucine
Taurine
Cissus
Potassium
Chromium Pic
Perfect Cycle
ProLiver
Flax oil
Venom
Rebound XT
Lean Extreme
Fenugreek
and about 10 other things that I can't recall.

To Jonny21's point, just watch your glucose levels after you try something new. Of the list above, R-ala was the only thing that directly lowered my BG.

I take Avandamet which is a mix of Rog and Met.

Regards,
R
