Hey Guys,

I have now received my products from Nutraplanet but didn't get any directions for use on the bulk powders. Can someone makes some suggestions for me? Here's what I have so far:

1. Nettle Root 400mg 4x day

2. Longjack - Take 50-100mg 1x day

3. CEE 3g 1x day

4. Maca - Take 500-1000mg 1x day

5. Horny Goat Weed - Take 250mg 1x day

6. AAKG - 3g 2x day

1/4 teaspoon = 500mg roughly

Thanks very much :)

Nettle - 400mg 4X day

Long Jack - Not sure

CEE - no need for before and after. I'd just take 3-4 gr before.

Maca - a heaping spoonful 2-3 times a day

HGW - 1/2 teaspoon twice a day, IIRC

AAKG - 3gr twice a day, or 3gr pre-workout only if you're cheap. AAKG MUST be on an empty stomach.

For LJ100, I take about 500 mg. which is 1/4 tsp. once per day.

Maca 1 gram per day.

HGW 500 mg. per day if it's 40%, 1 gram if it's 20%. This one is a must cap, since it tates REALLY bad.

AAKG is 3 grams 2x per day. I don't use the other stuff, but that's my input about the above compounds.

maca is pretty non-potent. It's a tuber (read: potato-like root) which is a staple of the SA Indian diet. A gram isn't going to do much for you, even if it's a 4:1 extract. They eat it every meal there.

That's what the label recommends from both BN and NP.

Usually the bulk containers say something like 1/4 TS = 820mg or something similar, which is not an dosage recommendation.

What dosage have you seen recommended and where? If you can find something saying daily dose is higher, I'd appreciate a link, so I can know if I need to bump things up.

MacaPunch Maca Powder 6:1 Extract (Raw, Organic) Kilo - RawGuru's Raw Food Store

And here:

Database entry for Maca Lepidium meyenii Maca - Lepidium peruvianum, Chacon - Maca - Lepidium meyenii Maca - Lepidium meyenii Maca

Studies in 2001 reported a beneficial effect on male sperm production in rats and improvement of sperm count and motility in nine healthy adult men. In 2002 a study reported improved sexual performance in inexperienced male rats; another "self-perception on sexual desire" test in healthy men reported aphrodisiac or libido enhancement effects. In several of the rat and mice studies, the animals were administered up to 4 g per kg of body weight of a "concentrated maca extract" to achieve the reported results. This would (approximately) equate to a 300 g (10 oz.) dose for an average (170 lb.) man! None of these studies, however, indicated a possible mechanism of action - or related these observed effects to constituents or chemicals contained in maca root....

....Traditional Preparation: In the Andes, as much as a pound of fresh and/or dried maca root is eaten as a food in a single day. In herbal medicine in the U.S., dried maca root tablets, capsules and powders are generally recommended at dosages of 5-20 g daily. The dried root powder (a more economical choice than tablets or capsules) can be stirred into juice, water, or smoothies (2 tsp. of root powder are about 5.5 g). For standardized and concentrated extract products, follow the labeled instructions.

Contraindications: None reported.

Drug Interactions: None reported

Oh, and:

The marketing claim made that maca actually increases testosterone or sex hormones has been clinically disproved just recently. In a 2003 double-blind placebo human trial, men taking a maca root extract (1.5-3 g daily) evidenced no changes in any reproductive hormonal level tested, including testosterone (which actually showed a slight decrease!).

Interesting references. I'm sure no one is taking 300 grams per day...do you think the positive effects ppl. report are all placebo?

You are going to utilize Iran's Uranium enrichment centrifuges and some secret sauce.
