Looking to concoct my own pre-workout mix. So far I have creatine gluconate, AAKG, but what else should i buy? What can I add for energy? I might just buy NP's mass pump stack, but besides caffeine, what can be added for energy?

The MassPump stack was chosen for a reason...and if you can afford it, Propionyl-l-carnitine is a great preworkout boost.

I always take calcium preworkout, as it seems to assist in contraction force. I also take some Ginkgo Biloba.

You also should add in a good adaptogen, like Rhodiola or Bacopa.

In relation to increasing nitric oxide production/ATP stimulation, try adding NAD or even better.... the reduced form NADH. Niacin would assist as well.

Also, there is substantial evidence that L-norvaline is a powerfull arginase inhibitor which in turn means greater NO production/energy.

To go along with the ergogenic aids I strongly recommend some BCAA's, or perhaps just Leucine. Also suggest L-tyrosine and some Taurine. Ca+ is another good option (which can also be taken throughout the day).

I prefer Choline Citrate...and I will go ahead and order some.

Choline is a source of AcetylCholine (especially when combined with the ALCAR), which is a neurotransmitter helpful in memory formation and thought transmission.

Alpha GPC would be a great source of choline. You don't carry it do you?
I didn't see it on the site. I would suggest overlooking the effectiveness of CB/CC particularly from a cost standpoint/

the makers of Alpha_GPC have the most horrendous production of any company I have seen. They cannot keep up with demand, so therefore any smaller companies get shoved aside and do not get orders filled.

I'm working on CDP-Choline from China, though.
