Biotest Surge masks the flavor of HMB and CEE

I can't stand spending hours capping pills, so I tried this as an experiment. I read that Surge contains a flavoring ingredient that competes with bitter flavors like hydrolysate for access to taste buds. This isn't a bizarre claim; after all, B-a-C sells an anti-"yuck" product that works the same way.

I got brave and dumped 5 grams of HMB and 5 grams of CEE into 2 scoops of Surge, then added a couple of ounces of orange juice (because Surge plus OJ tastes like Orange Julius), and blended.

If you've ever tasted HMB, you know that 5 grams of the stuff added to 5 grams of CEE is a recipe for projectile vomit.

But there was NO hint of their flavors in the Surge PWO mixture!

Just thought some of you HMB-weary guys might be interested.

Interesting.... maybe the same would apply to other orange-flavoured aminos like Vendetta and All in One. I have a few HMB that i could try this way.
cheers!
