    Thumbs down X-Factor Impressions

I ordered X-Factor after reading the positive log on this forum and seeing a lot of support from the other members on this board.

I started taking X-Factor last sunday, 2 in the morning, 2 at in the afternoon, and one in the evening everyday.

I have noticed nothing, absolutely nothing, except I have had a headache the past 3 days.

It has been around a week and a half...

Should I be seeing/feeling anyhting by now or how long does this stuff to kick in?

Or is it just the latest and greatest advertising...?

You are taking 5 caps a day right?

Make sure you are not eating any Omega 3 foods / supps, like flax oil, olive oil, peanuts, etc.

I believe it takes two weeks to kick in. I was thinking of ordering some as well, please keep us posted, I'd like to know if it is worth the money

Yes, 5 caps a day, I am totally avoiding all EFAs, although I slipped one day eating peanuts.

Other then that I have been very strict avoiding those.

I will write another update this Sunday or so based on what you said.

Are you noticing the increased soreness that Aeternatis was experiencing during his X-Factor trial?

i did the xfactor trial, loved it.

anyway, it took almost 2 weeks for me to really feel it. i ended up losing a little bodyfat and putting on about 7 pounds. you should be starting to notice it any day now. good luck! i'm gonna do it again later in the year.

edit: i took mine the same times you are

Is this in reference to X-Factor? If so, I do no think it is a fair statement. Individual tester results have been impressive and research shows that it could potentially be a good product.

fair point. I don't usually try to be negative or judgmental anyway, so I apologize, take that back.

My experience (and apparently those of others) when using the main ingredients in X-Factor led me to believe that they are ineffective. Maybe it's just certain people, though. If it works for some, then it is fine.

Im waiting for TgX to post back on his results, everything I have read as far as reviews and logs have been nothing but good feedback. I was really looking forward to trying this product, especially the fact it increases AR density.

I understand. Arachidonic acid is a unique compound and I enjoy reading both the positive and negative experiences.

    X-Factor Summary

Ok, here is my summary on X-Factor.

I am nearly done with my first bottle, and as said previously I avoided EFAs as much as possible while taking it.

I am nearly done with my first bottle, I have approximately two days of pills left after losing one or two.

    Here are my impressions -

    Log:
Day 1-5 = Noticed no changes at all
Day 6-8 = Got some weird headaches not positive if it was the X-Factor
Day 8-13 = Still seeing no greater gains in my workouts then I normally do, my muscles do seem "harder" then usual, but I have felt no pumps or anything of that nature since being on X-Factor
Day 13-Now = Muscles definitely seem harder, but then again no noticeable strength gains do to X-Factor.
Today = I woke up sore this morning which is very unusuaul for me. I am not sure if it is the X-Factor but if it has taken 17 days to start working.

I only bought one bottle and now I am going to see if I wake up sore again in the next two days before I decide to purchase another.

I will let you guys know if this stuff is finally doing something, but overall, I did not see any results greater then I would generally with my diet or training, besides a noticeable increase in muscle hardness.

I will give one final update, I wish someone would tell me if this is expected and I should have planned on taking this for 3+ weeks....

Anyways, take this with a grain of salt.

    Any questions, fire away.

I tested x-factor over on BB.com. If i were u i would plan on using at least 2 bottles to judge the effectiveness. I myself really didn't feel like it did a whole lot for me until 3+ weeks. I would not expect a supp. like this to "kick" in quickly.

This is one of the problems we noticed with selling the 200mg/90 count bottles. For some people loading period/kick in takes a couple of weeks, and at the end of the first bottle they are not yet in an ideal position to judge it. It really doesn;t start working until AA levels are significantly increased in muscle tissues. The new version will contain min 25days worth of product, which will force the "1 bottle testers" to really comit to it and properly judge its effectiveness. I think this would have been better for you.

I wish you the best of luck with your cycle.. But definitely don't recommend judging it on only a couple of weeks of use. FWIW, if you buy a second bottle from us and you still don't like it, we'll give you your money back. So far, no refunds yet ever given.

How exactly did you get it that cheap. I looked on the site and it has one bottle for $55. Not sure how you managed this. I also could not fine a clearance area at all. If you actually got it for that, then you got a hell of a deal!

Vitamin Shoppe has a clearance table, and 4 bottles were on there. They were just trying to clear the entire table, so everything was marked 50 cents.

Please fill me in on what stores have such a discount on this. Seriously, I would go out tomorrow and find one of those stores and search it for such a great deal.

don't know if they will do the same thing again, they were just trying to get rid of everything that was close to the exp. date.

No sesathin while on, but definitely looks like it would be a very good product to switch to post cycle!

    yolks?

I just started taking x-factor and i had few questions. Why is it a poor choice to consume omega-3's while on it and does that include no egg yolks? Also, i am 6'7" and 290lbs so would it be unsafe if i used more than 5 pills a day, and if it is safe would it be any more effective?

You shouldn't mix the two because Omega 3's compete with AA for membrane storage and enzyme binding, causing less active (anabolic) prostaglandings to be formed. Eggs are fine if you don't overdo it, as they have omega 3's (avoid the high O3 brand eggs).

More than 5 per day shouldn't be dangerous, as there is no known accute toxicity or overdose with this fatty acid (it is only a fatty acid after all). But I suspect higher doses will lead to greater protein degradation. As it is, even at 5 you often need to intake mucho calories to grow. More might just be "too much" change in protein turnover rates.

Admittedly we have never recommended more than 5, so there isn't a lot of feedback. For liability reasons we'd never directly recommend taking more either..

Well then lets see what happens. I will try 7 a day for 50 days. As far as calories go i already consume in the 5000 a day range so i hope that is sufficient. One more question, as far as the omega 3's go what if you were to take them at seperate times as the x factor. Because i generally get up and take my pills first thing and then i drink a shake, about an hour later i make breakfast which always includes whole eggs? It's not that i have to eat eggs, its just that it is an easy source of protien for me and i eat alot of the little bastards. Thanks for the quick response to my last question, i appreciate it.

The fatty acids actaully sit stored in your muscle tissue, and are liberated during training. So they have a slow and delayed effect in many regards, making timing like this less important that just total daily intake..

I wouldn't go absolutely nuts cutting every Omega 3 from your diet, but I defintiely wouldn't recommend taking supplements..

    Best of luck with it!
