Anyone still use Cissus? It was all the rage a few years back.

If not Cissus for sure/achy joints - what's new that actually works?

Antaeus Labs Achilles (Cissus + Other Goodies)
iForce Joint Help (Cissus + Other Goodies)
Curcumin + Bioperine (might possibly help, I usually combine Curcumin with one of said above things)
E-Pharm Joint Force (topical/spray)

Yep definitely would recommend Achilles by Antaeus Labs. It's probably the top joint supp we sell at Strong Supplement Shop.

Achilles: Looks good but the PEA is a bit unappealing to me as a long term and daily addition.

Cissus is still all good. Boswellia, curcumin, devil's claw are interesting options. No grains/low n6 pufa brought the most significant amelioration to me.

I've heard good things about Achilles. Cissus is still what I recommend to people with joint issues (I've still been lucky to not have any).

SAM-e, curcumin, fish oil, MSM are staples for me.
When my rheumatic disease gets worse I add bromelaine, serrpeptase, boswellia.

I will try Achilles with extra cissus next month to compare what I can benefit from that.

I still take it regularly.

Personally, I find pre-loading 2 weeks out prior to anything I know will aggravate the joints seems to prevent anything too bad. Then obviously cont use after.

Cissus standardized for 20% total Ketosterones tends to aid more in joint relief than that which is standardized for 40% Total Ketosterones (which anecdotally is said to be more "anabolic").

Fish oil is a must.

And I've had some decent feedback on Ep1C (-epi) aiding in joint relief due to its strong antioxidant powers. Granted I'd never suggest buying an (-)epi product just for that reason, but if someone was thinking about including it in a stack and had joint issues I'd say heck yeah.

Curcumin! Good call boss, and healthy beyond the joint effects as well.

I have used Antaeus Achilles With E-Pharm Joint Force for some nagging pain in the patellar tendons that would destroy me every time i would squat and after a couple weeks it started to improve drastically eventually pain free. Laxogenin is another compound that many agree there is a large improvement in joint function.

This is the combo I'd recommend. Aside from ROM training and other stuff you can do from a training perspective, the other addition to consider is something to boost GH, such as MK-677. That attached with Cissus, Achilles and Joint Force is one hard to beat combo.

I personally take various things for joint relief/support: Achilles is the base. you can always add more Cissus to it if you feel the need. I also agree with the Omega-3 comments, that is a must, and I have been known to take Collagen powder...

thanks for all the Achilles love in here BTW! it really is great to see people are enjoying it and that its working for you guys.

Is the PEA used in Achilles the same as the one found in a lot of stimulants?

No sir, but it's a good question. There are two distinct compounds commonly abbreviated as "PEA": one is phenethylamine, the endogenous stimulant, the other is palmitoylethanolamide, an endogenous analgesic and anti-inflammatory.

Bulk cissus has worked great for me but if that isnt working this just came out today: Fortify by Legion (cant post links yet)

Has some different ingredients that appear to be backed by science; I have tried some other products from Legion and enjoyed them.

I've always wondered this. Bulk unflavoured would taste terrible, and I imagine that between pre workouts, aminos and fatburners, having too many flavoured supps in one day would deter a lot of people.

As far as these new generation Curc's go, pretty sure Meriva was proved to be bunk where as its competition Theracumin was a good choice.
