The Ultimate Supplement Cocktail

With custom coming out with the custom mixes of bulk powders, thought it'd be very helpful if we had a thread discussing the dosage and reason why adding the substance to the "ultimate cocktail."

I'm thinking the base of every cocktail should be CEE, Arginine Alpha Ketoglutarate, and Citrulline Malate. Also heard adding HMB if the cocktail is taken preworkout.

Sample cocktail:
CEE 4g
Citrulline Malate 3g
AAKG 6g

Anything added to this discussion would be greatly appreciated by myself and the whole board.

Lately I have been using :

CEE 3grams pre & post WO
Swole V2 pre & post WO
R-ALA pre WO
Syntrax Nitrous (di-arg malate) pre & post WO


The thing is, this is the first time using CEE for me, I have used Swole and Nitrous together before, and the benefits I am getting from this stack do not seem to be exceeding what I normally feel when taking Swole & Nitrous. In other words, if the CEE needs time to kick in, or if the CEE and creatine malate in Swole are kinda doing the same thing. I was hoping they would absorb differently and give their own benefits but I kinda feel like I am wasting CEE with this stack :-( It has been two weeks....

just started this one this week:

3 grams cex
4 mL redline
1 scoop adenergy stack
5 grams cit. malate
3 grams alcar
10 grams dex.

that plus a wiff of nose tork and you'll be goin bonkers

I've heard that its better to use AAKG than di-arginine malate if you're using citrulline malate, because you already have the malate in there from the citrulline malate. Any consensus on this??

try em both, all this stuff will vary from person to person, in terms of how good a certain supp. works, as well as dosing

I take 2 scoops NO Xplode, 3 g each CEÅ & HMB, 2 g tyrosine, and 2-3 g taurine, along w/ a B complex.

I take 1.33 servings ICE, 1 g each arginine (sometimes diarg malate) & lysine, 10 g sucrose & 5 g dextrose

post is protein + oats (or wheaties depending on what I feel like) + C & E

alcar and citrulline malate are both great during workout supps, think about addin them if you're lookin for a boost

You guys are all way off :rasp:

Kre-Alkalyn 750mg
Beta-Alanine 800mg
Alcar 3g
Taurine 3g
Betaine 1.5g

Take that with a B-complex cap and a scoop of powerade (mayeb some added glycerine) and you've got it made. Obviously caffeine and l-tyrosine could be added for additional effects.

HMB 2g
PS 200mg
15g dextrose/sucrose

I'm just wondering. A lot of you are mixing creatine mono plus CEE or swole plus CEE, or NO-xplode and CEE et cetera. I mean, it seems a bit redundant to me. CEE is most certainly overrated (IMO).

I like this one, but w/another 3g CEE pre workout, and the BCAA's taking during workout.

I use that formula (approximately) as a pre-/during w/o cocktail. I save the CEE 'till post-w/o, cause of all the caffeine pre-. My understanding is that creatine and caffeine are better used at dif times.

Your body is saturated and stays saturated at 3g every day.
Correct me if i'm wrong, but once your saturated, your just
pissing the rest away.

I use 2 scoops Xtend (scivation),1g cee (pre,durring,post)

not including my pre and post shakes.

What CEE do you use? I have Bulk Nutrition's, and it tastes like ****. I heard extend tastes good. Does the CEE kill the taste?

have you checked the ingrediant list of Xtend? bulk bcaa's and cit. malate and bingo, plus you can actually dose the cit. malate at a proper dosage, not 1/5th of what you want/need which is what Xtend gives you

I have read that creatine absorption is enhances by caffeine. Never seen that documented in a study though.

beowulf yeah, the xtend definatly covers the taste of bulks cee for the most part, thats what i'm using.
I only use the xtend on lifting days though, i mix cee, and citruline malate with
crystal light otherwise, that covers everything up.

Newb017,Yes, i've checked the ingredients, its not a problem to add in more CM. And I
have to say the xtend has cut down my DOMS significantly.

I've posted this several times, but here are my pre and during cocktails.

Pre Workout:
10g BCAA
4g Citruline Malate
3g Tyrosine
6g Taurine
2g Choline
2g Betaine
Orange Crystal Light to taste (much better than raspberry)
32oz of H2O
During Workout:
20g BCAA
4g Citruline Malate
Orange Crystal Light
32oz of H2O

These cocktails are incredibly effective--better than I had hoped for when I bought them. I highly reccommend this. I hope Custom gets all the ingredients in as I try to buy as many products as possible from board supporters.

can anyone suggest info on the caffeine/creatine mixing; was it ever established that these are bad to mix? discussions have existed, but I don't recall conclusive word. Seems like some do this routinely, others advise against it. Thanks.
