Since L-trypophan is available only by prescription (and unfortunately costs more), I was wondering ofis any good for people who have taken it.
Or should I just chug a glass of milk?
Some people like it, I tried it a few times and it gave me a deeper sleep, but some really nasty nightmares. I used the NOW brand 3-5 capsules about 1hr.-1/2hr before bed.Originally Posted by MarcusG
The combo of melatonin and ZMA seemed to work just as well without the nightmares. But hey, what ever works.
At this point, I wouldn't mind nightmares if I can get into a very deep sleep.
Melatonin is supposed to be not a good sup for SAD because the sleep-wake cycle is already messed up and might make it worse.
I've used it.....not great for sleeping per say, it will just relax you a bit (which might translate to sleep for some) but for my money melatonin is what works.
