    Red face Citrulline Malate opinions? & my Stack Idea


    Hi all, after searching a bit I could find little in the way of first hand experiences with Citrulline malate - has anyone here dabbled in it?

    Is this the sort of thign you can take and have it be effective right then, like creatine, or does benefit occur only after prolongued use?

    Also, the dosage req's seem kinda high - 6g/day - is this right?

    I'm trying to find some ALCAR in bulk powder but haven't had any luck - SMI2LE took my money a couple months ago and didn't send me my nootropics so I'm not ordering from them...

    This is a tentative stack idea for pre-workout but it would be something like: ALCAR + CEE + Citrulline Malate + l-Tyrosine + choline + whey + honey.

    With that stack I'd avoid any overt stimulants (no crash later), and the honey would provide a longer lasting fuel source than dextrose, while still being easily digestible...

    Any feedback here or experiences?

    that looks like a good pre- stack. Mine is similar sometimes, using AAKG, CEE, ALCAR, C Malate, BCAA's, tyrosine. I'm gonna save the CEE till afterwards now, cause I drink coffee and sometimes go with E/C pre-. I like C Malate for energy in the concoction and it seems to work well with the other stuff.

    I believe that nutraplanet has the best price of ALCAR I've seen. $27 for 500 grams if I'm not mistaken. 1fast also has it.

    CM rocks. It has been a staple in my supps stack since 5 months now. You need at least 6 grams ED for it to work, splitted morning and night doses.
    It is particularly good stacked with CEE.
    CM wont build muscles of course, but it'll help with energy and endurance all the time.

    Alright great, I found the ALCAR at 1fast400 earlier today - I tried to find it there yesterday and couldn't, which confused me because I thought for sure they had it since it's the nootropic that that obnoxious, yappy little bitch from the avant labs and imminst forums keeps posting all over the place they sold it impure or something like that...

    Ordered some Citrulline Malate along with it and I'll post my experiences with it when try it...

    I've been using the CEE for a few days now and it may be other factors or placebo effect, but the last 2 workouts I've done have rocked! - yesterday lifting, I was using a full 10-15lbs more on the upper body machines and wasn't spent after my 3rd set, so I did more...

    Today I went for a 3 mile run, which I hadn't done in awhile, and it was much easier than usual, I couldv'e run another 2 miles, felt like I had a huge amount of potential energy stored if I needed it... I ran at my usual pace, but using what felt like much less exertion and strain than usual...

    Make sure to cycle CM, it will lose effectiveness over time.

    Probably varies from person to person. Minimum 2 weeks for me, but you might be different.

    I take a week off from training every 2 months, and as well from all supplements, except a low maintenance dose of saw palmetto.
    While i can make the off period longer for some supps (mostly creatine and CM), I certainly cant pause training for more than a week.

    It would be interesting to know which supps requires a period of break longer than 1 week. Its too difficult for me to isolate which compound is doing what in my stack, so external imput would be beneficial I will pause CM 2 weeks next time

    Recently i had to stop everything for 2 weeks due to a bad flu.
