    Best carb to clean bulk

    Hi,

Iīm ectomorph and struggle to gain any weight. Worse, when i can put some weight, a large part is fat, especially on the belly. Iīm the skinny-fat type :|

I really prefer shakes since i struggle to eat solid food.. I eat but canīt eat a "lot".

Currently, i take a shake of WMS+Whey+Peanut Butter 3/4 times a day to accomplish my daily calories intake. On breakfast, pre and pos and sometimes before bed.

However, since i started to take WMS i notice i feel hungry a lot more and a kind of hypoglycemia. A mild dizziness like i wasnīt eating enough. It could be not the WMS but i suspect from it. Theres any sense on it?

Before that iīve tried oats (which couldnīt eat a lot without runnings to bathroom), Vitargo (expensive) and some weight gainers with Malto, Dextrose, etc. I think Malto and Dextrose are good for pos-workout but not as good as meal replacement.

So, in your opinion, whats the best carb to help me bulk up (about a 5kg/2.2lbs) as meal replacement? No really as a meal replacement but like a way to complement the daily calories intake. I donīt mind if it takes longer, but i prefer leaner results. I want a carb that i can take all day if i want (this is a manner of speaking).

In the moment my options are:

Instant Oats (iīve never tried this brand)
    Maltodextrin (maybe some on pos-workout?)
    Dextrose
    Waxy Maize Starch
    Vitargo Pure
    Fructose
    Palatinose
    Activated Barley

Vitargo and Activated Barley are expensive.. But if they worth..

I mention these because are the ones i can buy on bulk, without flavours neither additives

And concerning to protein? Whey or a blend?

WMS, scoop or two in a large gatorade.

    Best pre or post WO.

Would say oats n Blueberries for an additiinal 'normal' meal, but you dont seem to like them.

I like oats but the ones i buy on supermarket makes me run to the bathroom if i eat more. However next time if i buy oats will be of another brand.

I now thats seems a contradiction but believe me, my genetics are awful.. I struggle to gain weight, however i havenīt much definition and when i can gain more weight it seems it goes almost all to the belly. My primary goal is put some lean mass but its not been easy.

    Nothing in packets.

Not sure there is much of a difference between brands.

Oats, blueberries and SF syrup if you need sweetener.

How about something like a dry cereal thats lower in the sugar dept...cheerios, corn flakes, etc. use it as a snack throughout the day, make a trail mix w/ dry fruit. Banana chips, there are a lot of options other than designer carbs

i used a mix of brown and basmati rice along with 4 egg whites and 1 while egg. cook the egg and add it to cooked rice with some low sodium soy sauce. ****s tasty and has tons of carbs as well as good protein

If you are skinny fat stay away from simple sugars. They are great for bulking but if you already have some fat then stay away. Brown rice. Oatmeal. You feel hungry so fast because liquid calories don't take as long to digest as whole food. Make yourself eat and eat solid food.

If you are skinny but not cut, then there is a possibility your training routine is off. How are you lifting?

I change my routine frequently. Iīve tried a lot of routines.. pyramid sets, 5x5, Kris Gethin 12 weeks and so on.. Now iīm trying Shortcut to Size by
    Jim Stoppani's.

When i was on Kris Gethin plan, i reach as low as 72.8kg / 160lbs (i was at 79kg / 174lbs) and i reduce a little my belly but even with that weight iīm not much cut. I donīt know my bf% but i think its around 14-15%. I donīt want to cut more because with 160lbs i find myself skinny.

I wish i can return to the 180lbs i already have but without or little bf% increase.

do you only mean powdered carbs?

personally, i find pasta to be my carb of choice when bulking

I like that its about 20% protein... so I get extra protein and a nice filling starchy carb

I agree with this. You could also consider just getting the majority of your carbs from green veggie sources. I would stay away from the simple sugars.
