If you are a steroid using, long distance, world wide known athlete, my apologies. I just usually asume most of the people here are recreational lifters, leading a usual american lifestyle and add this in as their pleasure , hobby, recreation or aesthetic satisfaction (or overcompensation).
Now that you mentioned you do near a marathon , daily...can we get some specifics of that? In case you are running high oxidative stresses, and long distance running every day, you can become Vitamin C depleted and in that case it is a good option to listen to Dana, if not, yeah don't...not in the Vitamin C aspect. At least that's my opinion and some of us other forum's members opinion.
I'm not a hobby lifter and I have people that tell me what to eat but I like to do my own research to know why I'm supposed do and eat something. Most of you guys here are amazing in knowing your nutrition and I learn something everyday from reading here, that's why I come here, but sometimes I just want to have a straight up answer on my questions.
