Is it a bad idea to use a supplement containing DHEA during a cycle phase since it has the tendency to raise estrogen?

I've seen people use it to combat lethargy. The issue is with dhea I'n oral forms is biovailability. You would be better suited to look into something like 4-dhea to narrow down conversion to favorable hormones.
