GDA's suppressing cortisol

If one is taking a GDA such as SSv2, and has symptoms of overtraining, will supplementing this help or hurt for halting cortisol secretion? I know that insulin has cortisol suppressing effects, but I'm not 100% sure if exogenous sources of insulin, or insulin mimickers such as SSv2 will fulfill the role of normal insulin in this situation.. Thanks in advance...

It will not hurt your recovery OP, solid question though. A good remedy is extra sleep, get some needed rest my man.
