That's crazy, I have never heard of that. In fact, they put it in better pre-workouts now due to the sustained energy it delivers. My wife had to stop taking it because she was convinced she was going to have a heart attack.

Most may not even acknowledge it as part of a supplement stack because it is a staple along with fish oil and a multi-vitamin.

This is an ingredient I don't have much familiarity with, but its inclusion is certainly interesting in Compete. I'll have to look into it more.

I have the Now Rhodiola 500mg, how much should I take? So far I have been using 1 cap (500mg) and don't know if it's any point to do more?

Try it and see, it's not going to hurt you. Some people are very sensitive to Rhodiola and others not so much.
I am back to Gaia brand and their 120mg pill is way more effective for me than others 250-300mg with the same 3:1 ratio. So, even brands are different.
