    pre-workout supp. side effects

Alright I have had my share of pre-workout supps and I have only ran across 2 that have given me some bad side effects. One of them happened to me today. I took a new pre-workout today and 10 min later my entire face, parts of my arms, and my knees turned sunburn red and felt like a really bad sunburn. It was kinda painful at times, but it passed within an hour. What do yall think is going on? Others I take do not do this to me, only two of the products have done it out of probably 6 I have tried.

Post which Pre WO you're using. I am sure someone with more knowledge about certain ingredients would be able to chime in and help you out.

    Cheers.

I had a few bad experiences with niacin and flushing, found that i really needed to have food with anything that contained a larger amount of niacin. Didn't realize beta alanine could cause it too. I've experienced the typical tingling from BA but nothing more

I contacted BPI and they said that it was more than likely the Niacin in it

That was my first guess and as others said, BA. I've never gotten flushed from BA but can get a pretty intense tingle if I take to much.
