Ive been an avid fan of goji berry for a while now... its one of the very noticable natural supplements preventing any cold, flu, inflamed joints etc. and gives a good stream of energy all day. Ive never got such an affect from any health store style supp. To me its the Acai that never was.

It also gives a massive boost in the bedroom, better than any tribulous ive tried, I wont go into specifics but you notice it (And so will she!), its a natural viagra!

Plus, its anti-cancer, antioxidant, improves vision, nourishes liver and kidneys, 500x more powerful than vitamin C etc. etc.

So, good all rounder, and many who tried it love it.

Whilst searching for a list of benefits for a few ladies at work, I came across this, turns out it has anti-estrogen properties

alsodecreased malondialdehyde (MDA) level and creatine kinase activities in rats. Thus, wolfberry(goji) was able to reduce the oxidative stress in rats during exhaustive
exercise. [9] While, a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, 14-days clinical trial of 34 subjects showed thatwolfberry juice reduced fatigue and stress and improved regularity of gastrointestinal function. [8] Thus, wolfberryextracts including its juice may benefit people under constant stress. (aka bodybuilding!)

Thought I'd share :)

p.s
If you live in the uk its buy one get one free from simply supplements (£7 for 4 months supply)

Personally I take Goji 2000mg, its easy tot take daily, and take 1 or 2. Theres 180 in two tubs for £7.99 which is really cheap.

I really notice the difference, friends and family are starting to get involved too, im no way a rep, but the way i talk about its aid makes me sound like one

Are these anecdotal claims or are there actually published human studies validating these claims?

Any human published studies to substantiate these claims?

This study was conducted in a test tube, so it's a good hypothesis and warrants human clinical studies.

Not trying to bash goji berries as I have noticed a slight boost in energy levels after taking encapsulated versions for several weeks and I know they contain antioxidants, but to make claims of improved vision, preventing colds, anti-cancer, "anti-estrogen", etc. are bold claims without sufficient studies conducted on humans.

RE: Anti cancer I read Cancer research studies that state it has significant advantages when used with chemo. To such an extent doctors are looking to have it as a staple for all cancer patients as it, and dont quote me, destabilizes the cancerous cells dropping their defence against the chemo, aswell as support the bodys natural drain when under chemo. I read a review or two of people saying their dcos were amazed when their cancers disappeared but these could be jokes or chaff.

The ED benefits, I can safely say are brilliant amongst a small handful of people I personally know who love it for erections they never had even in their teen years ;)

The high orac values and excellent vitamin and mineral content make it my one a day, every day. I went a full year and half without any flu or cold after a long spell of many sick days year in year out, until I came off them... maybe I was lucky, but i never got anything everyone else was dying from at work with the horrid air conditioning.

The following paper is a great read, with various studies, concluding:

"Based on scientific studies, we now know that goji berry’s unique polysaccharides provide
potent antioxidative effects and anti-tumor, immune-stimulatory, and cytoprotective benefits"

That study was performed using rats, but RogerBob's article sited a Chinese study with human cancer patients showing greater benefit combining goji with a cancer drug LAK/IL-2 compared with cancer drug LAK/IL-2 alone.

-Cao GW, Yang WG, Du P. [Observation of the effects of LAK/IL-2 therapy combining with Lycium barbarum polysaccharides in the treatment of 75 cancer patients] Zhonghua Zhong Liu Za Zhi. 1994 Nov;16(6):428-31

What do you like to stack with Goji berry caps for nice boost in libido and erection?

My 1st thought would be to stack Goji berry (better bloodflow = better erections) with Tongkat Ali (increasing free testosterone = better libido) and Mucuna Pruriens (lowers prolactin = can have sex more times) but never tried such stack.

Well I already take L-dopa from USP PowerFull, which is velvet bean, but also take FenuGreek, Tribulus Terrestris (60% saporins) P-450 anti aromatase and Somatrin (Macuna Pruriens, melatonin) and ZMA via one channel = iSatori ISA-TEST gf

So goji and ISA-Test are a good stack for everything, just get to grips with the anger management required (although its sh*t hot, intelligent anger.. serious 'on the ball' ness.
