I"m currently taking BCAA, citruline malate and creatine for pre-workout, and for post-workout, I drink a whey protein shake.

What other ingredients should I look for in a post-workout supplement, and what is a good dosage?

Whole foods. Maybe some glutamine 5g, though you will find debate on that.

Protein/Leucine/BCAAs + Beta-alanine.

You can take LCLT postworkout too, though I prefer it preworkout.

I have never heard beta-alanine to be a poWO supp, but after reading this I looked it up and found that the increased insulin release with poWO carbs halves the time it takes for a user to experience benefits from beta-alanine supplementation. It makes sense, I just never put two and two together I guess. I'll have to switch up my preWO 4g's to 3g's pre and 3g's post.

Thanks for sparking that mini bit of research.

both great suggestions. you can also add dextrose into your shake if your diet allows for the carbs. that or just go with whole foods post workout
