    optimal bcaa ratio and why?

since this is always a heavily debated topic, would love to see what people have to say about what ratio they feel is optimal, why, and what proof if they have any.

personally, I've always believed in 2:1:1 as far as ratios go, although I've used 4:1:1 before. 2:1:1 seems to have the most data behind it, plus not a fan of higher ratios like 8:1:1 or 12:1:1 (at this point why not just use bulk leucine)

Ratios above 4:1:1 are just excessive and wasteful.

Either undefined or 2:1:1. For those unaware, undefined is 1:0:0, or just leucine.

Anything greater than 4:1:1 makes you wonder why they didn't just sell bulk leucine.
