Is everyone agreed that arginine is worthless?

I am under the impression that arginine is fairly worthless as a preworkout supp. Ok, so what about at other times of the day? AM upon waking? I have read that arginine without exercise increases GH levels, so taking it AM/pre bed would make sense maybe? 5g? I have to canasters of it sitting around, if it's useful at all I'd like to use them as efficiently as possible.
 
wouldnt say worthless but for whats its advertised for then yes
