Revamp Mini Log - TxAggie

I bought some Revamp in response to some forum advice about my long term supplementation of stimulants and pre-workout products. I have been running an ECA (24/200/80) stack about 4-6 times per week for about a year as well as running products like 1.m.r and Jack3d on days I did not take the ECA stack. The past few months I have been feeling super sluggish and have noticed my tolerance for stimulants is through the roof. I can drink a 32 oz cup of dunkin donuts coffee in the morning before work and it barely phases me. I workout around 5 p.m. and to get going I use to get amped on one ECA stack or 1 scoop of Jack3d / 1.m.r.; lately those products have lost their pump luster and just became enough to get me to the gym.

I bought 2 bottles of Revamp to try and ween myself off of the stimulants and restore my body's natural tolerance levels.

Goals: Increase good sleep levels, restore mood on daily basis, cut down tolerance to stimulants.

On 1/15/2012 I started my no more stimulants run.
On 1/16/2012 I ordered my Revamp + Orange Triad.
On 1/18/2012 Shipment received; good job NutraPlanet! :)
On 1/18/2012 I took 2 Revamp before bed time since I didn't have it in the morning.

Day's 1 (1/19) , 2 (1/20) ,3 (1/21) - To be honest 3 days isn't enough time to review a product but I can say I cheated with a small 8 oz cup of coffee on 1/21 (yesterday) and boy did I hit the spot! I miss my coffee; I went all week without it and it showed! My mood has been pretty bad because of the Mountain Cedar in the air which has my allergies going crazy. Between the allergies and going cold turkey on stimulants I was hurting all week really. I went to the gym on 1/20 for chest and triceps and felt good and then on 1/21 for a good back workout.

Day 4 (Today) 1/22/2012 - Woke up after 10 hrs of sleep feeling pretty good. No coffee today and still feel pretty good. Allergies seem to be clearing up some which is good. I did have some good dreams last night as well, much like ZMA type dreams. Might go do another chest /tri day later on! The g/f and I rubbed one out lastnight and I seemed slightly more sensitive than usual as of lately. Not sure if that is from the revamp or not but it was good; I will try and remember to note stuff like this in the log as well.

I will try and update this a couple of times per week.

The court is still out in it officially. Though after many deployments, perpetual states of fight or flight, and endless time with the docs, I am a firm believer of adrenal fatigue as I've been through it.

I could find much info on Revamp other than 1 other log on here. Other than the $26 I spent there isn't much to lose; especially if it helps even just a little bit.

I am no doctor or specialist in the medical fields but I can definitely feel the differences of being stim free after 1 week. Even when I cut out sodas 8 years ago I got terrible headaches for about 2 weeks before my body adapted to it.

I will likely hit the coffee and Jack3d tomorrow so we will see if anything has changed after 1 week. Not as exciting as some of the PH/PS logs I have read but hey I hope I can provide some insight for others looking at Revamp...

@CopyCat - Thanks for your service!

I am class of 2003 but I did like most engineering majors and took a victory lap so I got out in May 2004. I was in Appelt on South Side by the Commons for 2 years then moved to apartments with my friends the last 3.

Where are you at these days?? After graduation I moved to San Antonio for work....

Quick update:

The past 2 nights I have slept really well and both nights had good dreams. I seem to be lasting all day without feeling so sluggish and getting out of bed after good sleep is helping a lot. I not sure if all that is just me coming off so many months of stimulants or Revamp working in conjunction with no stimulants but it feels good after a week of use. My plan is to stay off the Jack3d / 1.m.r for another week or 2 then start back lightly. I will likely enjoy some coffee this weekend though and will see if I can feel the caffeine tolerances after using the Revamp.

Little over a week in and the cloud has cleared for the most part. I am sleeping well and and I am not having a hard time getting up or staying awake / focused at work. My gym sessions were slow at first due to no stimulants at all but I haven't lost any gains I made recently which is good. Did chest / shoulders yesterday with good energy and slept like a brick. I will say either no stims or combo'd with Revamp I seem to be a little more sensitive in the bed sessions lately; not sure what is causing it but im not complaining. :)

True test is tomorrow for me; I am going to enjoy my 32 oz coffee and will likely hit up the pre-workout to see how it feels.
