Any opinions on flavors/quality at True Protein?

I'm thinking about ordering a milk protein isolate/egg/whey blend from them. Maybe 60/20/20.

Any opinions? I was thinking about the pina colada given the thick, creamy texture of the mpi. Maybe orange.

Just curious what others thought about True Protein.

I think there quality is top knotch. Flavor is not as sweet as BSL, but still good enough for me. I would go with choc or vanilla though, as I have not heard anything special about exotic flavors. I use a 40/30/30 give or take with conc/milk/caseinate and its thick but manageble.

I'd say their flavoring is "tolerable" vs. BSL's flaoring being "delicious". But like Scotty said, the quality is top knotch, and the prices more than make up for the taste difference. I usually get a 70/30 MPI/CFM whey, and I've tried cherry, vanilla, and chocolate. I actually liked the cherry the best, followed by chocolate and vanilla. They just added an option to use jugs instead of bags, and also you can buy large quantities of flavoring for pretty cheap. So you can get unflavored protein and buy different flavors to try, or mix/match, ect. I love those guys

How is their customer service? I use PF right now and not too happy with there service. How long does an order take to be sent? Do they notify you when they ship?

For me they've always shipped the next day (I order from work and I work nights), and they also email me a tracking# promptly. Also Doug replies to any questions the same day, or next day, and has even replied to my questions in the middle of the night.

Customer service is great. Just remember they ship from California, so if your east coast like me it is cross country shipping. But its still manageable.

Yes they are great, I get my stuff within 2 days I am in AZ so its not too far, Doug is a great guy repsonds very quickly called me back right away a couple times> He add extra stevia at no additional cost also . I have got my last 2 orders from him, too bad about BSL though

I decided to be a bit of a pain and order 6 pounds of protein in 2 pound increments. I'm trying pina colada, banana, and chocolate. I'll let you guys know how it turns out.

As for the other TP flavors, they were okay. A little bland all around, as others have described. I think I liked banana best.
