Hi, I was wondering what you guys think of the new product from Labrada nutrition. Hica max (hydroxy-isocaproic acid)
Any positive things on the leucic acid compared to leucine?

500mg 3 times a day

Seems promising.

Waiting to see it in a fat burner though. That would be novel

Research is actually solid, but I would love to see a comparison between HICA and Leucine. If Leucine can create the same result at a cheaper price, I'd go with Leucine instead.

These were my thoughts when reading through the footballer study. It is like comparing BCAAs to an empty stomach. I am not convinced it would be more effective than standard leucine. Admittedly I have only read the one study and flicked through it at best. In for other opinions until I get a chance to read it in detail.

i personally really liked HMB, and hmb is a metabolite of lecine and still needs fairly high dosing.

i cant imagine 1.5g is enough.

maybe1.5g 3x a day inbetween meals, but research was only done ith 1.5g from what i saw.

ill stil toss 30g leucine a day **** works fine
