Arnica herb

Arnica Montana is a herbal extract which is said to have anti-inflamatory properties and can help heal wounds and apparently tenonditis as well. I suffer from at the very moment probally stage 1-2 tendonitis in my tricep right above the elbow i've tried various excerises to to strengthen the tendons and i feel they have helped a bit focusing on the ecentric contraction but the symptoms still linger allbeit not as bad as last year.

A friend refered me to arnica and gave me a tube of a muscle rubbing gel that has arnica among other herbal ingredients in it. Has anyone every used this herb to try to heal tendonitis or to just reduce inflamation.

I googled it, and to my surpise there was some articles on it doesn't appear to have any clinical studies besides some mention on the University of Maryland site. There are also oral pills of Arnica you can take but are toxic to the liver if taken in high doses and some sides may occur. But using a topical cream/gel not only eliminated any toxity but helps more with tendonitis.

Any thoughts opinions critisim on this herb its not really a supplement but thought this was best place.

Ive been trying to find some info on it, but i never really believe anything the web has to say unless its a credible study the person who reccomended it to me said it helped heal a UCL tear along with rehab and rest so its not directly contributed to Arnica but he claims it helps a lot. I rely more on personal experiences and discussions since especially with a product like this theres not really any rep to boast it and blow steam up my ass but rather getting good advice from people.

Speaking from personal experience dealing with tendinitis, cissus masked the problems but once you stopped using it the problems came right back in-season i'll certainley use cissus since its an all around good product just to use but im looking more for a fix now. I know rest is the best but it takes about a year to fully heal a tendonitis its not a couple week thing. But supposebly this has some healing properties to it more so then cissus which is generally a product used to mask the pain.

I figured there wasn't much info on here about it since i would have heard of it by now but it seems promising it's a pretty unkown product kind of a word of mouth product but im gonna keep trying it.

Copper

I call it the joints of steel stack. Lol.
But seriously I had pretty bad tendonitis from BBall and this and proper weight training cleared it up completely.

It has a decent antiinflamatory effect used topically. Im useing it right now. Its a little disheartining hearing that it's toxic, as I imagine once absorbed it would get in your blood stream anyway.
