Hi all, just Registered, was wondering what would be the best supplement to start on as there is that many to choose from. Need to bulk up first before I start shedding. Any suggestions??? Thanks

welcome buddy, first and foremost dieting will get you your best results. There are several diet regimens to choose from. Make sure you are getting in good quality macro nutrients daily such a high quality proteins, healthy fats, and complex carbohydrates if you are a carb person. For supplements if you just started working out you won't need any but if you have been working our for awhile now the basics will do. Creatine, Protein, Beta Alanine, Fishoil, multivitamin. As you develop and gain experience you can start to venture out onto new supplements which will help keep things exciting Welcome to AM, best board ever.

agree as well! lots of quality food with just the basic supplements...and training wise, really hone in to see what your body best responds to (i.e. higher weight/lower reps or lower weight/higher reps)...and then mix it up from time to time...it's all a learning curve about what works best for you...

diet and training is a must. supplements are only....supplements. they supplement your diet and training. that being said, you should still be on the staple supplements. these include creatine, protein, BCAAs, Multi Vitamin, and fish oil

Up your calorie intake man... eat like a horse and throw a protein shake or 2 in you daily... or maybe a weight gainer... but a multi-vitamin would be a great addition as well.
