Steriod found in U.S. Supplements
Found this article in August 2004 issue of Muscle and Development.
"That supplement that worked so wel for you last summer may contain a lot more than whey protein. German scientists found large amounts of metandienone (Dianabol) in three supplements made in the UW but purchased in UK. They analyzed the supplements for anabolic steriod and other baned compounds. Chemical analysis show the presence of metandienone (a prescription anabolic steriod), which was not declared on the product labels. Several of the nutritional supplements also contained caffeine, ephedrine, and pseudoephedrine, which were also not listed on the labels. Taking contaminated supplements could lead to suspension in most amateur sports. Reading supplement labels may not e enough to protect you from the steriod sports police"
So which supplements are these? I know NitroTech had nandralone in it.

This is not the first time something like this has happened. This can happen at any company that produces prohormones. That is, it is possible to get enough accidental contamination that PHs can be detected in a test. However, it is unlikely that the quantities involved would affect anyone. Anyone who has taken prohormones knows that you have to take dozens of times the "contaminant" level to get an effect from the PH.

Exactly I doubt it was enough to do anything unless it was put in on purpose and with every 40g of protein you were getting like 5mg of dbol.

Hot Stuff had a bit of steroids in it, as well. I do not remember the exact steroid, but it created a buzz when it first came out. The "hot" Hot Stuff didn't last long, as you would imagine.

There was an article a year maybe ago about NitroTech having nandrolone. Supposedly a NFL football player was taking it and tested positive for nandrolone, then they tested the nitrotech and it came out positive. The NFL player was gonna sue (?) b/c it affected his reputation. I'm sure others heard of this on this board...could anyone collaborate more?

Some of their products were cross contaminated because of not cleaning their machines thuroughly enough between runs. It was contaminated with 19-nor products not pure nandrolone.
