So my doc prescribed Veramyst, (also prescribed Astepro which isn't a steroid) a inhaled corticosteroid with some seemingly nasty sides for some people, but rather benign looking overall. Wondering, since tomorrow starts week 4 Halotest for me (Promagnon), should I be worried about a cortisol blunting my PH progress, or even interactions? From what I've been able to read, inhaled corticosteroids are very mild on the system. The compound is methylated, however the paper I read on it stated that 80% is passed in stool, 1 % in urine, which I would take to mean that the remainder is processed and broken down somehow.
At any rate, the ENT had no idea about PHs, so I figured I'd ask here since so many seem very knowledgeable. Thanks in advance.
