Two part question

What is the proper Cal to Mag ratio? 2:1 ?

Also: Do these minerals "compete" for absorption.

Reason I am asking is I want to try Mag at night to help with sleep.

If I take a cal/mag supp, can I add Mag to help induce the sleep w/o throwing off the cal/mag balance?

Thanks

I personally like the 1:1 ration supp because i take in a fair amount of milk already. Some people say they compete with one another, but the consensus seems to be that they are needed together for utilization. Make sure you get the citrate if you can, stay away from the oxide version which is usually the cheapest and widely used.

I just bought some topical magenisum oil. I used it this morning and I felt more awake.....looking forward to trying it tonight to see how rest is.

I really like the oil, its an easy way to get efficient magnesium quicker than tablet form. its scent free too and dries quick
