    mycoprotein

Although not a vegetarian, I sometimes eat a vegetarian meat substitute called Quorn. Quite good. It is made from fungus protein and some egg white. High in fiber too. They make several products that mimic meat very well. Anyone know anything about the profile for this? The website states it is similar in aminos to beef and chicken. They claim a .99 index score.

Any reps out there know if this will ever be seen in bb supps? Seems like there could be a market for folks who can't do milk, won't do soy, etc. It also looks like one company has the market on it. Just curious.

Why not just egg protein or pea protein even.
