    Best Intra Workout Drink


    I have been using Sizeon for 5 months and very happy with the results. But I think its time for a change. Just looking for some feedback on some other intra workout drinks. I just changed my pre from Shotgun to Jack3d, so far I am happy with the change.

    Here is what I take currently Pre, Intra, Post..

    (Pre)2 1/2 to 3 scoops Jack3d. I also add some glutamine.
    (Intra) 1 scoop of sizeon with some BCAAs added in
    (Post) some BCAAs and ECAs with Glutamine.

    I'm not even sure what the actual benefits are? I've been using VPX Powershock for over 6 months, not sure if I can really gauge a difference with or without, either in terms of growth or recovery. My next experiment will be USP's Modern BCAA's.

    I hear you on the homebrew. I played around with a few myself but once I tried Sizeon I could see the results by week 3. I was using just shotgun in March to shed some BF, I dropped a good 12 lbs BF in 6 weeks. When I added in the Sizeon I put the 12 lbs back on and then some. Kept the BF off.

    Been using purple wraath + bcaas. I like it. It's all about getting the amino acids into my system to kickstart the muscle rebuilding process. I also add electrolytes to aid in hydration.

    i HIGHLY suggest purple wraath duringa cut and sizeon on bulking
    i always add maximum absorbed protein so i can get more hydrolyzed casein in my intra workouts, it makes for a good lift

    Been using MAP. Love the stuff. Actually felt like my strength was going up on it too. Recovery was good. As of late I have been taking it in the morning but love it intraworkout.

    toss up between ibcaa's and map, that is when i remeber to take em. Thats whey sometimes ill mix up a big jub of ibcaa's, map, and drink it throughout the workout. Im goin to try the modern bcaa's as well, probably post though.

    Sizeon is pretty good i liked it also. But i have a feeling Intrabolic by AEN may be better as far as a BCAA based supp and not a creatine blend is where size on is good. IMO it has the better profile of the intra's avalable. Add some dicreatine malate or just plain old monohydrate whatever tickles you and then some GMS for pump, BAM you got a winner. I just ordered the stuff for a home brew with the base being LG's BC+EAA or else id be rocking intrabolic myself. Im curently using their presurge unleashed PWO and its hands down is the best tasting one ive ever used. So i could only imagine the wild berry punch intra being great as well.

    MAP is going to be your best bet for recovery and growth. iBCAA will suffice if you're on a budget and MAP is out of your price range.

    Check out USP Modern BCAA, Just got mine today. Mixes clear, nothing floating, tastes great in my opinion, mild taste though with only natural flavour and has the awesome Sustamine.

    Gonna try with my workout today, but feeling great taking it right now

    This is what I do. Soo effective and cheap. I've lately added DAA and agst prework out. It's been going really well I hit a max yesterday on bench 315 x 4. Got to love cheap effective bulks.

    i alternate between the 2 when i want to cycle off of nitrates.

    Hey AX I'm currently using Powershock (past 5 months). I don't see the massive pumps that others speak of, with respect to nitrates.

    I know a lot of products are based on ancillary studies, meaning an ingredient(s) may have worked in a very small group, therefore let's extrapolate those results and create a product that really has no scientific backing, like CEE.

    Along those lines have you tried modernbcaa? I was thinking of trying that along with the new gaspari supermax, which also has sustamine.

    Been using vpx synthesize... Not really a vpx fan, butts got say, this stuff is pretty legit. It's got creatine, bcaas, and more all in a base of peptopro. I got it on screaming deal, but i like it al lot. Add a little gplc, preworkout and your golden!

    I liked it also, but you can't really tell how much of anything is in there. I switched to Universal Torrent Zero, which seems comparable and has also magnapower, or something to that effect.

    i dont get pumps from any pump product. the only thing i get a pump from is training hard.

    2 pump product i love are vpx powershock and thermolife cbol (creatine nitrate), but i love them because of performance enchancement, not pump.

    my year round low carb lifestyle may have something to do with lack of pump. but when im training hard a swolen pump feel comes in effect, which i would get anyways even without a pump product.

    if i were you id cycle off of powershock for a while, you can build nitrate tolerance. taking vitamin c and nac with it will help reduce tolerance, but i feel it fading after 6-8 weeks.

    I might just do that. I just got a few tubs of modernbcaa in, so I'll see how this run goes.

    Thanks for everyone's feedback so far. I will def be trying something new when the Sizeon runs out.
    I have enough bulk BCAA's to go through so I will be adding a lil extra to what ever I go with..

    Intra WO i just use PP's IBCAA's mixed with water. the bcaa's are great to help stop catabolism.

    PostWO I use the ibcaa's, needtowhy, dextrose, creapure, or somtiems in place of the needtowhy i use the MAP! :-P

    For me i'm using Modern BCAA's by USP i don't mind the taste i don't know everyones big deal about taste is. I throw in some unflavored MAP on hard workout days. Seems like a winner to me so far. I've used Powershock didn't notice much difference, LG's BC+EAA is awesome for value and profile, Sizeon is okay if you want creatine in yours, and i've used Xtend not really a fan of though.

    i use 2 scoops of power shock mixed with cre mono in one bottle and a little gatorade mixed with water in another. a sip of power shock in between sets and the gatorade to hydrate makes an awsome combo for me
