Alot of the weight gainers out there use carbs like malto and waxi- which are good imo around the right time- pre and post workout


Not late in the afternoon or any other meal



So I thought We could compile a list of ingriedents we put in our own homemade weight gainer

Heres mine


1 cup oats
8 oz Yam
Spinach(increases protein synthesis)
1 scoop Nutra pro
1 tbs peanut butter/almond butter
1 1/2 cup skim milk
2 whole eggs


Totals-
Carbs-120
Protein-64
Fats-26

360 grams oats

90 grams protein - banana/vanilla
2 bananas
milk till right texture

Should fill up a whole blender bottle.

1 Scoop Casein

This is standard shake for me, I do it once to three times a day depending on what else I eat.

I really like this one!

I think I may tweak it a bit for my body though

I would do Whole milk, 1 scoop whey 1 1/2 scoop casein, 1 cup of oats, 1 cup strawberries, the smart balance and honey


Perfect breakfast right here!

I Just made this shake for the first time, currently drinking it right now and it taste fantastic, has kinda a hint of cinamon (idk why) and you can taste the oatmeal and peanut butter =] yumm.

This is my absolute favorite - Nutty Blueberry Vanilla - it's absolutely awesome!!!

12 oz Milk
1 scoop Vanilla Trutein (or TruNutrition Vanilla Isolate or Whey Blend)
2-3 tbsp Peanut Butter
1 handful of Frozen Blueberries

Mix in blender for 30 seconds.

Holy Moly this is DELICIOUS!!!!

crushed ice (it has to be crushed other wise you dont get the anabolic effect)

oats,whole milk,whole eggs,bananas,ice cream,peanut butter & protein powder if so desired.

I'd try to get as close to 50gm's protein from these good protein sources.
