    Creatine and Citric acid

What are your thoughts on this?noticing many creatine supps contain citric acid, and i have a dude at my work telling me that it turns creatine into creatinine, the by product, which would render it useless.Ive never really thought about or heard this...searched a little bit but couldnt really find anything legit on the topic.

Citric acid isn't nearly as acidic as stomach acids. If I had to guess, I would imagine citric acid would increase the soluability of creatine in H20.

creatine is turned into creatinine and rendered useless when it is mixed with sugars in a liquid and left to stablize.

Doesn't need to be with sugars, just putting creatine in solution will cause it to breakdown, but not nearly as rapidly as many people make out.
