I've always hear that casein is great for before bed, keeping your body less catabolic through the night where you aren't eating for 8 hours.
But I've also always heard that for best release of GH, not to eat a few hours prior to sleeping.
is this a lose-lose situation?
it seems like if you don't take a slow digesting protein before bed you will be loosing the proper internal muscle-building environment ... and if you do take a shake before bed, you will not be releasing as much GH
