question about celery seed extract

Can someone look at the following two ingredient profiles for celery seed extracts and tell me which one is the best? The first is the 85% 3nb, but has a lower dose/cap. The second is only 15% 3nb, with a much larger dose/cap...

Not really sure about all that. I do know however that NOW celery seed extract is legit.

Pardon my ignorance, what is celery seed used for? As a diuretic?

Celery seed extract works as a mild diuretic to promote fluid loss from intravascular spaces decreasing the workload on the heart. It also mimics a calcium channel blocker to prevent arterial constriction allowing blood to be pumped throughout the body much easier.

I don't know the exact answer to your question, but i do know celery seed extract is typically dosed in 75mg pills for a total of 150 a day. I have never seen it dosed any other way other that if its a crappy extract, so I would opt for your first choice.

That was my thought, too. I was hoping that the second one would be comparable because its about half the price, but I think I'm just going to stick with the first one. I've used it before, and it definitely keeps the bp in check.
