I wanted to be a chinese medical doctor....

I didn't do chinese medicine course in my Uni, I did biology, so I have to pass 2 exams to get the qualification.
I passed the first part of exam.
usually the second part takes 4-8 yrs to prepare, very difficult to pass, so I gave up and back to biology field. I still know some about chinese medicine theory and herb medicine effects, although as a scientist now i don't fully accept everything in it. Well, at least I can read chinese medical books and information without difficulties. Even Chinese people usually can't understand those things.

I would still say Chinese medicine can be useful in many cases, if you got correct diagnosis and treatment.

My GFR levels have always been a bit low and my creatinine levels a bit high. Looking for some help here. Ive lowered my protein intake significantly but Ive still got the issues.

Diet is great and salt levels low. Very well hydrated too.

    You want to "strengthen Yin".

Plum tree tea pills ... and I forget the other reputable company.

Beware of imitations. Quality sites exist. Tea pills are the easy route.

You can get an online diagnosis. Bet ya protein intake is too high for ya "pumping"

The problem is outside China its too unregulated. I'd see it as a source of supplements rather than as route 1.

    how high it is?
is your blood pressure and blood sugar all fine?

although i studied chinese medicine, i have to say,... in my country, many people got kidney failure because taking unreliable herb products. there are not many chinese medicine kidney experts, and it takes time to bring kidney function to normal....

    what is your other signs?
when you drink water normally, do you think you have comparatively small amount or big amount of urine?
do you feel hot often at night time? or your limbs feel cold easily?
do you have problem in sex or libido, when not taking supplement?
how's your sleep? do you feel tired in daytime?
how's your stool? do you have soft wet stool in early morning?
how's your mouth? dry and a bit smelly? or watering?

for boosting kidney function, you can buy some 赤小豆 (Semen Phaseoli, a kind of smaller adzuki beans) in chinese store, boil and drink water.
but if you feel hot and sweaty in night time, sleep badly, and no water stranded, don't try this.
