alright just starting up some creatine on my non workout day.

would drinking it 3 times a day be good (1 morning, noon, night)

or should i just stick to the old 1 serv before workout and one after?

i hear theres a loading period?? how does that work?

u can load it if u like but either way in about 2-3 weeks its gonna be the same really. what kind of creatine are u using just plain monohydrate or one of the creatine products that have extras? personally i like universal storm for 2 reasons its 25 bucks for an 80 serving tub and the extras and flavoring are spot on. i just do 1 scoop pre and one scoop postwo with carbs, BCAAs and a nutrient partitioner. then 15-25 mins later i have a protein shake, then an hour later a solid food meal with lots of complex cho, and quality protein source like chicken and some good fats like evoo, natty pb or coconut oil

i love all the products like universal storm, shock therapy etc.. that have creatine already in them however, my body only seems to work well with creatine mono so i concentrate on that as my creatine intake.

for the first 5 days, take 5 grams a day 4-5 times a day. after the 5th day just day five grams a day everyday.

this is how creatine works. ill try to give an analogy here

picture millions upon millions of measureing cups. each empty (essentially). when you take your first drink of creatine those measuring cups start to fill. each time you take the creatine they fill more and more. the goal is to fill them to the top. to do this you have to load, 5 times a day for 5 days. theres millions upon millions of cups so theres lost of filling to do. after the 5th day all those cups are filled. then all the cups sprung a small leak, that means you need to take 5 grams a day EVERYDAY to make sure those cups stay filled. if you take in more creatine than the cups can hold youll experience some stomach discomfort because the cups are already filled.

cups=cells.

and dont forget to drink ALOT of water.

hope that helped.
