Question,
If DHEA, (Dehydroepiandrosterone), readily metabolizes through liver enzymatic process into, among other actives, Androstenedione, then why is it available to a six year old and sold right next to other lettered dietary supplements like, oh say, Vit. D and Vit. E.? It just doesn't make sense to me. I've done the usual googling and cannot seem to come up with a REASON that the FDA deems this a safe enough product to leave on the market. I'm not complaining, just curious. Any intelligent insight, ideas, postulations are welcome and appreciated.
...I do believe this belongs in this section as DHEA is a true blue dietary supplement. If not then please correct me.
